La asamblea de electrones había empezado de manera caótica, como todas, por culpa de Heisenberg. En este momento la discusión estaba que saltaban chispas.
- ¡Estoy harto de dar vueltas y vueltas por el mismo circuito!, dijo un electrón de corriente continua.
- ¡Peor es lo nuestro!, replicó uno de corriente alterna. Primero todos corriendo para un lado, luego todos para el otro…
- ¡Desde que el hombre aprendió a amaestrarnos somos los modernos burros de la noria!, farfulló uno mayor al borde de la apoplejía
- No te excites, querido, que te sales de tu órbita, le tranquilizó su mujer.
- ¡Qué ganas tengo de jubilarme y pasar a una órbita interior!, masculló entre dientes.

- ¡La culpa es de J.J., por descubrirnos!
- ¡De los imanes, por inducirnos!
- ¡De Faraday, por descubrir la inducción!
- ¡De Tesla, por el motor de corriente alterna!

- ¡Estoy harto!, dijo el más resuelto, cerrando de un golpe su maleta. Me voy a vivir con mis primos, a un elemento no conductor.
- Hummm…, musitó uno arrugado, la vida en los aniones no es un lecho de rosas…
- ¡Pues me voy a otro planeta, a otra galaxia… donde la civilización existente no haya descubierto todavía el electromagnetismo!

Una fila interminable de electrones, cada uno con su maleta, emigraba desde el planeta Tierra.
- ¡Tengo hambre! ¡Quiero cenar!, gritaba un pequeñín. ¡Cenar!… ¡cenar!… ¡cenar!...
¡A cenaaaar…!, el grito de su madre le despertó. Se había quedado dormido sobre la placa de inserción y ni siquiera había empezado la práctica de electrónica.
Bueno, la haría después de cenar. Esta le gustaba.

The electrons assembly had started in a chaotic way, as usual, and Heisenberg was to blame. Just then they were all arguing:
- I’m fed up with continually going around the same circuit! – said a direct current electron.
- Don’t tell us!, replied an alternating current one. Our situation is even worse, all of us running first in one direction, next in the opposite direction…
- We’ve been the donkeys in the wheel since the very moment the man learnt how to tame us! muttered an old one, on the verge of apoplegy.
- Take it easy, darling, don’t get too excited or you’ll get out of your orbit, his wife tried to calm him down.
- I can’t wait to get retired and move on to an inner orbit!, he mumbled.

- J.J. is to blame, he discovered us!
- It’s the magnets’ fault, they induce us!
- It’s Faraday’s, he discovered induction!
- It’s Tesla’s fault, he invented the alternating-current engine!
- …
- Enough is enough!, said the most resolute one, locking his suitcase at once. I’m moving to my cousins’, in a non conductive element.
- Hmmm…, stammered a very old one, life in anions isn’t precisely a roses garden…
- Then I’m moving to another planet, to another galaxy… where civilization hasn’t discovered electromagnetism yet!
- I’m coming with you!
- Me too!

There was a long stream of electrons emigrating from Earth, each one of them carrying its own suitcase…
- I’m hungry, I want to have dinner!, cried a little one. Dinner!… dinner!… dinner!...
Dinner’s ready!!!! He woke to his mother’s cry. He had fallen asleep on the breadboard and he hadn’t even started his practice on electronics.
OK then, he’d do it after dinner. He was very expectant and knew he would enjoy it.
