Whitford Park Traditional Cache

A micro hidden at the back of Whitford Park. And by "back", i mean WAY back.... you will have to cross the creek to get to it!
Whitford Park is one of the 1st parks in the area I ever visited. After visiting many others it remains our favorite! We have been here many times to use the playground, the wading pool, walk in the creek and have picnics. Also to cache! There was a similar hide here last year, but this one requires you to cross the creek and the cache is just a little smaller as well - thus the ratings. Unless it has not rained for 3+ weeks, you will get your feet wet here! The rocks in the creek can be very slippery - PLEASE use caution! Getting down into the creek is not a problem if you find a good place to enter. I would suggest walking the bank a bit to the east of the cache location. I am not sure what this will be like in the winter but I will monitor and disable if need be.
