Geocache Description:

Out with my crew hiking the longest section of the BBT. What a wonderful hike! We were greeted with amazing weather and spectacular views. There are some great vista points so bring a camera. Make sure to take the short spur to the top of Sandstone Peak and to Inspiration Point!

This section of the BBT starts off at Yerba Buena Road and heads up hill for 1.5 miles and then along the small valley between Sandstone Peak and Tri-Peaks. You then head south down the Chamberlain trail. This first section is all in NPS land. This cache is 50 feet south of the boundary of state and federal land. As with any outdoor sports, please bring the proper equipment and bring plenty of water, its about 15 miles, minimum. Please leave the trail cleaner than you found it and be wary of native creatures, some may not be happy with your presence. Enjoy the hike and Happy Caching!
