Geocache Description:

This Cache is located next to saltwater creek. It is fairly easy to find but may be a bit of a struggle to get to. You may encounter some mud so dont wear your Sunday's best!

Located next to the Nerang National Park this cache will hope to inspire you about the Australian Bush. As you walk in you'll experience the climate of the eucalypt forest. Next you'll take a look at the local creek and maybe relax a little. I hope this cache helps anyone to respect nature. Note: The creek can only be very small or very big depending on the weather. You will not need to cross he creek to reach the cache. If you dont care about your shoes getting muddy you can do this cache after light to moderate rain. The small waterfall can turn into a tiny torrent, the rain will also clear all the stagnated water, making everything much more pleasant. Journey: Start at Trail-head 1 and follow you way down hill. When you first enter the will be a T section, follow the trail to the right straight down the hill. Next you'll reach a large eucalyptus tree in a small clearing with a creek to the right; from here continue straight (do not cross the creek). After going roughly 80m you will find a small tiny clearing of the bush to your right (see picture) walk through here and you'll arrive at the cache location; a small pond with a tiny waterfall. Note if you kept walking to a place where you have to cross the creek to continue...you have gone to far, backtrack a small distance and try again.
