Located in Ashes Lane where the cache takes it's name from. Follow the signs for Windermere Camping and Caravan Club site on the A591 and park in the lane next to the site entrance. Ashes Lane is off road from here and after a few minutes walk, you come out onto open fields where the cache is located. Not too many muggles about, mainly dog walkers from the caravan site. If you carry on along the footpath for another half a mile, you come to Crook Road. Turn right here and the road takes you into Staveley
