La Strada Statale 33, nota come Via del Sempione, affascina per la sua storia e per la bellezza dei paesaggi che lungo il suo percorso si susseguono. La sua costruzione fu ordinata nel 1800 da Napoleone Bonaparte, come parte della lunga strada che avrebbe collegato Milano a Parigi. Per costruirla vennero uniti e ingranditi molti antichi sentieri, mentre alcuni tratti furono creati dal nulla.

State Road 33, known as the Via del Sempione, fascinating for its history and beauty of the landscapes. Its construction was ordered in 1800 by Napoleon Bonaparte as part of the long road that would connect Milan to Paris. To build were united and enlarged many ancient paths, while some sections were created from nothing.
