Diction is the name of my boat and is where I live. She was built in 1965 and used as a cargo vessel in coastal and near continental waters. She was then converted to a dredger and used to dredge kelp seedweed out of Truro. When this finished the then owner stripped the cargo holding tanks out and completely spray foamed the hold intending to make her into a live aboard then gave up on th idea - this was when we bought her some 5 years ago and so began a long haul to where we are now. Anyone interested in the work we put into Diction we have a web site MVDiction.co.uk which follows our progress from collecting her from Truro through all the work in changing her into a comfortable live aboard she is today.
