Geocache Description:

 

This cache is part of a series of caches planned a long the newly opened metro on the asian side of Istanbul.

 

 

 

 

This metro is a rapid transit line. In 2008, a €751m construction contract was awarded to a consortium of Astaldi, Makyol andGülermak. Trains were ordered from CAF. In mid-2010, the tunnel building was complete and the track laying started.

There are 16 stations so far completed. The total length of the track is 21 663m, with the system (including all connections and stairways) being a total length of 56 150m.

The cache is a micro with a magnet.


Choosing the correct exit out of the metro is part of the challenge. From the cache location you will have a view of the E5.
