Pierwszy pociąg trasę Chabówka-Zakopane przejechał 25.10.1899 r. Dawniej do polskiej stolicy Tatr docierano furmanką z samego Krakowa. Taka podróż trwała 2 dni. Obecnie w sezonie turystycznym kursuje 26 par pociągów dziennie. Czas przejazdu na przestrzeni ponad 100 lat(na trasie Kraków-Zakopane) z 7 godzin 45 minut skrócił się do 2 godzin 50 minut pociągiem ekspresowym.

Cache zawiera logbook i ołówek.

It was 25th of June 1899 when the first train drove over the route Chabówka-Zakopane. Earlier, people from Kraków used to travel via peasant wagon. The journey lasted about 2 days( 100km). Nowadays, during a summer and winter there are 26  trains a day. The duration of the journey has shorten from 7 hours and 45 minutes to 2 hours and 50 minutes (for over one hundred years on a route Kraków-Zakopane)

Cache contains a logbook and a pencil.
