Geocache Description:

Don't worry, you won't have to go for a swim in Lake Chase; cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!  In order to fill in the actual location, however, it is highly recommended that you first seek out Windermere History Lesson (GC3TM5D). Plenty of parking near final location, but it is only available sunrise to sunset. Short hike from parking to GZ.

Answer the five questions below in order to determine the actual location of the cache. The coordinates are in the following format:

28° 28.ABA' N
81° C(2-digit).DEA' W

  1. 'A' = The number of years between when the building that is now the Windermere Town Hall was constructed and when the town was formally incorporated.
  2. 'B' = The last digit of the difference between the year in which Windermere was formally incorporated and the year in which the Town Hall officially became the seat of local government.
  3. To the current value of 'C' (found in the posted coordinates), add the first digit of the year in which the Town Hall plaque was erected.
  4. 'D' = The sum of the last two digits of the year in which the Cal Palmer Memorial Building was constructed.
  5. Calculate the sum of the four digits that form the year in which the town site was originally platted. 'E' = The second digit of your result.
Container is full of kid-friendly trade items, as well as a special treat for the FTF (stowed in the baggie with the log). Please try to replace the container as found or better.
