Ocean Beach was the name of the fairground that we had here since 1954. The fairground closed in 2007 with big plans for the area however due to the recession these plans have been somewhat curtailed.
This side of the promenade forms part of the national cycle route and has recently seen major works in a new harbour wall and sea defences. There are more works to come which include a pedestrian and cycle bridge across the harbour to link with the rest of the national cycle route.

There can be a lot of muggles in this area and no doubt will be more due to construction works happening very close by so use stealth.
