It is a relatively easy to solve puzzle, that is, IF you paid attention.

As you complete the RETURN TO CEDAR BAYOU Series, make note of:
+++ The LETTER NAME of the Cache (ie. Return to Cedar Bayou – “A”)
+++ The LETTER CODE written on the top of SOME of the cache log sheets
The RETURN TO CEDAR BAYOU series includes:
--- Cache Names designated by letters A thru J.
--- Letter Codes designated as Q thru Z.
To solve the puzzle
Substitute the Cache Name Letter, for the following numbers:
A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5,
F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, J=10
Substitute the Letter Code, for the following numbers:
Q= -1, R= +1, S= +1, T= -1, U= -10,
V= -5, W= +5, X= +6, Y= +3, Z= -6
To solve the puzzle, take the number associated with the letter name of the cache and add/subtract the mathematical formula associated with the letter code.
IE: IF cache “A” contains the code “R” [A =1 / R= +1]
THEN: The Puzzel solution for R is .. 1+1 = 2
