Medium walking gradient to reach cache location, along well used path that starts from underneath viaduct after going through small sloping park behind houses. Nearest parking is road-side in a fairly quiet housing estate. Once into woods path can easily become muddy so appropriate footwear is advised.
Second in an ongoing series to bring out the hidden away or forgotten about nooks and crannies in and around Ivybridge.
The bridge is fairly simple, with large wooden beams laid down across what may have been a small ditch or stream. Some beams are now rotten or out of place and the old drover's track is overgrown and long since disused.
Cache is a long rectangular plastic box hidden close to the drover's bridge, containing a small note pad for entries and £1 for the FTF. Think perhaps what might have been a bold squirrel's home... UPDATE 26/10/12: the bold squirrel seems to have come back and taken a disliking to geocaching, therefore new cache has been relocated very close by - let the mini monolith lead the way from the old bridge...
