Geocache Description:

GG's birthday cache was created on August 17, 2012, the 91st birthday of my Grandma Gertrude. She is referred to as "GG", which could be for Grandma Gert, or Great Grandma. She is grandma to 9, and great grandma to 11. Although she is 91, she is as sharp, smart, funny and wise as many people half her age! This is the first cache I've hidden, and the timing was perfect to honor my wonderful, treasured GG.

This micro cache is located in a small park in Cos Cob. It is home to tennis courts,a playground, a baseball diamond, rock climbing area and soccer fields. It is a funny little neighborhood park, where sometimes it is packed with activity, and other times hardly a dog and walker around. The park is very safe and visible to many homes in the adjacent streets. The cache is placed in an area that looks to have visitors often, so please make sure cache is well hidden and looks natural. We even swept away our footprints before leaving, so not to attract the many potential muggles in the area.
