Geocache Description:

Ballinderry Presbyterian Church

The congregation of Ballinderry was formed in 1713 and drew its membership partly from the neighbouring congregations of Moira and Glenavy.

In the 1950's a Church Hall was built and is still known as 'The Stables Hall.' On 3rd March 1990 the Very Rev. Dr. Godfrey Brown opened a new Church Hall and in the year 2000 an extension was built linking the new hall with the Stables Hall. 2007 saw the car park being resurfaced and receiving a new entrance.

The cache is a camouflaged nano. It is accessible by wheelchair, but assistance may be required to reach the cache. Tweezers are recommended to extract the log!

The Church Micro IE series is open to everyone; if you have a church you would like to place a cache at then please contact THE_Chris through Geocaching.com. This is to keep track of the numbers of the churches and give you the general format for the cache page. In the UK there are ~1500 caches in the series so we have some catching up to do! Also, if you currently have a published cache at a church that you would like to include in the series, get in contact and we can add it.
