Ein ganz einfaches Böxli zu Ehren von Zürichs Brunnen
A very simple little box in honour of Zurich's fountains ("Erquickung" = refreshment)

Erquickung

In kaum einer Stadt findet man so viele Brunnen wie in Zürich. Bei 1200 Stück muss man selten mehr als ein paar Schritte gehen, bis der nächste Brunnen sein exquisites Trinkwasser zur Labung anbietet.
Stellvertretend für alle Zürcher Brunnen hat nun dieses eher ländliche, über 200 Jahre alte Exemplar eine kleine Dose gewidmet bekommen. Das Wasser dieses Brunnens stammt übrigens aus dem separaten Quellwassernetz, an welches ca. 320 Brunnen angeschlossen sind.

There is hardly a town with as many fountains as Zurich. Since there are 1200 of them, you rarely need to go far to refresh yourself with exquisite drinking water.
This rather rural specimen is more then 200 years old. It gives you spring water from a separate spring water distribution system including about 320 fountains.We equipped it with a cache, representative for all Zurich fountains.
