A small lock-and-lock container placed just off the Donkey Hill Cutoff trail near a log walkway over some mud. This is just about the furthest distance on the Three Ponds Trail loop from the parking area - a bit less than 1.5 hr hike.
This cache placed to honor StuB getting to 1000 obviously. What isn't so obvious is that StuB attained that goal at age 90!! He didn't start geocaching until age 83. And those caches aren't just a bunch of park and grabs, either. Many are long mountain hikes. Whatta Guy!! Keep on going StuB! I just hope I'm still alive at age 90, much less still caching.
