Geocache Description:

One of the great things about caching is discovering interesting places that would otherwise go un-visited - Okoroire is an appealing spot, with lots to offer, and appears to be within a caching black hole - and so, to rectify this, the cache "Steaming Hot Balls" was born!

Okoroire's main attractions are the Steaming Hot Pools; The Hotel, build in the 1889; and the attractive 9 hole Golf Course. It is also a gateway to walks in the area, including the Three Kauri Trees Walk, and the Wairere Falls.

This cache does require stealth as many eyes could be nearby, and BYOP!
