A short walk in Mugdock Country Park.

Mugdock Country Park is a popular destination for a variety of outdoor activities, and a regular haunt for local Geocachers who have placed a number of caches around the area, making the park an ideal destination for a caching day out.
The old stables, associated with the now ruined Craigend Castle have been converted into a visitor centre. There is some interesting history to be learned here.
Adjacent to the stables lies the Victorian walled garden with high stone walls, elaborate gates and cast–iron railings along the south-facing front. In its heyday, a number of greenhouses ran along the north wall, heated by a large coal burning boiler located in the west corner using water from the loch nearby. The walled garden supplied Craigend Castle with many varieties of fruit which were grown in the garden’s west side including apples, plums, pears, grapes, gooseberries and rhubarb.
Vegetables were grown along the east side while the centre was dominated by a large circular flowerbed.
Park at N 55 58.339 W 004 19.718.
A short walk will take you to GZ and the cache.
Difficult to get accurate co-ordinates in here and the needle will bounce around like crazy, so the hint is quite specific.
In keeping with the horticultural theme of this cache, a commonly used gardener’s implement indicates the location of the cache container.
