Geocache Description:

The bridleway on the east of Bell Hill is a delightful place, with great views and wild raspberries in season, which Safie likes. It leads down to the ford with its small stone bridge. This cache replaces an earlier one of the Boogie series.

Unfortunately not all geocachers are as responsible as they should be.  A great adventure was involved in the previous cache a little further along the track, but due to damage to the wall we have decided to archive it and set this new ground level cache as a replacement.  No more Climbing the Steeple required to complete your boogie around Bell Hill - shame.  When it was first set, tree caches were novel and quite a lot of folk have enjoyed the challenge over the years.  Not all the damage may be down to cachers as other bits of wall show similar signs of disturbance, which one assumes must be deer or other animals crossing and knocking the stones off.  But let's move it before any serious damage is done.

This cache is NOT in the wall but nesting on the west side of the lane.  It is a green bison wedged in the tree.   Please re-hide in the same place.  Lovely views in this open area and before heading down to the ford.

Boogie!
