This is our second cache, and we thought it appropriate to inaugurate it as a series here on Whidbey Island - the Vista series (more on the way!).
Our first cache is on Bush Point, on the west side of the island. This one is on the east side, in the cozy hamlet of Langley. But being attracted to slightly off the beaten path points on the island, we of course couldn't just place this in the center of town.
Instead, this cache is found down in the Langley marina, a short walk from the bustling center of town. The marina is a focal point in itself, home to a number of cute lodging establishments, and of course host to boats of all sizes. It's also a local favorite for crabbing off the marina's dock. Just off the dock is a tiny community park, where this cache is conveniently placed. Before you jump into caching mode, enjoy the beautiful view from the park. After all, isn't that what life is all about? :-)
Please return the cache exactly as you found it. For those who can't find it on first try, be sure to use the hint. It should be pretty obvious after that.
