Geocache Description:

A historical collection of firsts for Sinagpore in one multiuse field.

A collection firsts for Singapore at Farrer Park: What could be better defined as a multi-use field than to host Singapore’s first horse racing track, golf course, and an airfield. Think back to the early days of Singapore in the first half of the 19th century and imagine horses galloping and gentlepeople  playing golf.  Advance to the first part of the 20th century and witness some of the first biplanes in Asia landing here.

The horses, golf, and airplanes are all gone today. Rather you will now find soccer, rugby, boxing, swimming, and even American football.   If you have the time, walk over to Little India and have some nice South Asian cuisine and do a little shopping.

The cache is a medium sized plastic lockbox with a pen and writing pad inside
