Who is William R. Bradley? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If the cache owner wishes to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Its the name of this park, but I cannot find any info about the man it is named after. Enjoy the park and enjoy the tree it is in!

Thanks to Chase Clan 23, we have some answers: San Marcos Historical society says that WRB was a California State Senator who was partly responsible for getting Cal State San Marcos to come to the area. Apparently his wife Margaret still lives in the area. The park was originally known as City Park but was dedicated to the late senator in the 1980's. Thanks to Steven and Tanis from the historical society for their assistance.

Cache is a cammo taped 35MM container hanging in a tree. You can reach it from the ground.
