Now part of Jackson State Forest this old orchard site still has a few remaining apple trees. Beans Orchard is 2 miles East on Little Lake Road from the traffic light on Highway 1. Original "hatch" was stolen. New cache has log only.
Road 750 is a popular parking point to park and hike. There are many people mushrooming in winter. The forest here is a mix of transitional and pygmy. In wet months this area will be pretty soggy. The orchard has been abused by careless off-road-ers, so beware of ruts. Cache is close to a few remaining apple trees.
