This Geocache is dedicated to Keith Stainton. He often was seen walking the beaches and hills around Balfour as a young boy before moving to Vancouver. Keith was a superintendent of the Burnaby School District and also volunteered on hundreds of boards and charities. Judging from the 500 plus people that attend the funeral in Vancouver after a fatal car crash in 2010, he was a man that touched the hearts of many. The Cemetery contains many of the "Stainton" family that have left this world. They pioneered the Balfour area.
