Geocache Description:

Rathcoffey Castle was owned by the Wogan Family in the 13th century. It was the second biggest castle in Kildare, Maynooth being the biggest. It has changed hands several times over the years and ended up being owned by the Jesuits who today still reside in the area but they sold the estate in the 1970's to a local farmer. The castle now sits on private lands.

You don't need to enter the grounds.
