Lynnwood Fire Station 14 (BlueRidge)
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is outside a fire station that predates the city of Lynnwood. It is one of the busier fire stations in the area and often staffed by only three personnel manning both a Fire Engine and an Aid Unit. These firefighters protect all of western Lynnwood and much of Northeastern Edmonds. If you happen to see one of them, give them a wave. There is also a classroom/meeting room in the station that is available for public use.
The cache is a one liter camouflaged container. Please replace it as you found it. This cache can only be sought during daylight hours. The station has been burglarized in the past so the Lynnwood Police are very sensitive to people lurking around the area in the dark. If a firefighter or police officer ask what you’re doing it would be best to tell the truth. Most of the firefighters are aware of geocaching although they may not know where this one is. The cache was placed with permission of administration. Parking is available right by GZ. Impromptu station tours are often welcome. Occasional fire themed TBs will be placed in the cache. The first TB being sent out is "GoneFire the White."
