Cottonwood Cemetery is a very old cemetery. Many of the graves are dated in the 1800's. There is even a Civil War Veteran buried in the cemetery. Legend has it, that Indians played ball with the local settlers right across the road. If, you continue to drive west, there is a beautiful canopy of trees across the road .
