Recently changed to a nano as the lid on the film tub kept getting muggled, so please bring a pen/pencil
This is our first cache & we decided to place it fairly near to our home in Glen Howe Park, north-west of Sheffield. This 19 acre woodland was ‘given to the public’ in 1917 by local paper manufacturer Joseph Dixon and his friend John Mills & is a beautiful spot for walking & picnicking. Although much used by locals, it seems to remain somewhat of a secret even for the people of Sheffield. More information about the park’s history can be found at http://www.heritagewoodsonline.co.uk/map/019/019.html Once you have found the cache, try to make time to have a good walk around; there is a map of the park on a plaque next to Glen Howe Tower (the plaque is dedicated to a good friend of ours). Hope you enjoy your time in Glen Howe park. Keeps getting muggled so please bring a pen/pencil
