In the fall of 1982 Dr. William Sherwood Kilgore bequeathed funds to build a new public library to be named in honor of his parents. His gift built the 14,000-square-foot Kilgore Memorial Library at 520 Nebraska Avenue. It opened in the spring of 1986.

Take a moment at the following locations to write down some information and enjoy the tour:

How many people were on the city council? # = C
Main lobby--Skylight area
How many vents plus round light fixtures? # = D
The "Axe V" sculpture--North Wall

The Mary White sculpture--near the center
What year was Mary born? #### = JKLM
The Meeting rooms--West of the restrooms
How many meeting rooms are there? # = N
