Geocache Description:

A paddle-to multi on the Millstone River.  Please do not attempt to access the cache by land. You can paddle upstream from the listed parking on Millstone Road or start north of Route 1 and do the whole trail (see GC3VKP2 for parking near Route 1). There is also a launch further upstream at Cranbury Neck Road but we haven't gotten that far up yet, so there may be obstacles.

I hid "Gnarly" on my way upstream and then I noticed "Big" on our return trip.  I really wanted every one to see "Big" and 4wheelin_fool suggested making this into a multi. "Big" is in Plainsboro Township, Middlesex County and "Gnarly" is across the river in West Windsor Township, Mercer County. There was some poison ivy on "Gnarly" but we removed most of it. Just be careful what you touch. If you are paddling upstream to the cache, there is a large downed tree you will have to carry around. 4wheelin_fool left a cache near that spot as consolation for having to carry around the tree. You will have to get out of your boat at both stages of this cache. The bank is sloped at Stage 1 but its not too hard to get up. I have provided a waypoint for easiest landing at Stage 2 to avoid unnecessary bushwacking.
