Currey Park Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

the_121s: Hi folks, and thanks for looking for this cache. I hope you enjoyed it.

I've archived this listing because the original container was taken. I may do a magnetic hide in the same area at some point.

Check the image gallery to see the improvised log that the last few finders used to mark their visit.

Geocache Description:

A friendly cache in a friendly town, requiring a short walk over friendly terrain.

Roblin, MB was originally named Goose Lake (hence the name of the local Goose Lake High School), but was renamed in 1904 after Rodmond Roblin, who was the Premier at the time. Rodmond was Duff (of Duff's Ditch fame) Roblin's grandfather.

The Village of Roblin was officially incorporated in 1913 and became the Town of Roblin on May 1, 1962.

Roblin's Currey Park is home to three baseball diamonds, a softball diamond, a one-mile walking trail, waterfowl nesting sites, track oval and a picnic area.
