This cache is placed to honor Herb the groundskeeper. He is a retired school teacher, former ball player, and currently an athletic director at a private high school. If you have time check out the perfectly groomed field. I wish I could have played there. This park is a hidden jewel of the Omaha park system. It has frisbie golf, softball and baseball fields, soccer, soapbox derby, skate park, model airplane flying, skeet shooting, handicapped fields, and bike trails. It is open 5AM to 11Pm. There is small ftf. Oh, you can also play tennis and Geocache.
