**Tweezers required** The cache is situated along The Essex Way which is a footpath running for 82 miles between Epping and Harwich. It passes through the village of Boxted and pass the Norman church. I have placed some caches along the way to draw people to the area.
The cache is situated near Boxted Hall. This is mentioned in the Doomsday book and in 1070 Normans arrived and Earl Eustace who held court at Witham, became lord of Boxted Hall, although the Saxon lord, Aluric, continued to manage the Hall. Arturus, one of Eudo Dapifer's men, became lord of Boxted Hall. The Saxon lord, Grim, continued to live at the Hall. Now the farm is used partly for livery and there is lots of stables and evidence of horses including a 'horse trainer' machine along the path which is like a running machine that you see in the gym, expect for horses. The cache is situated on the Essex Way Footpath that runs through the middle of Boxted Hall Farm. You are looking for a small custom made cache. Please be careful to replace as found. You will need a pen!
