Have a crafty one. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Buttercupbabe078: I have been to check and this is indeed missing. Due to the ever increasing flooding, the cache will just keep going missing even if I replace it, so I have decided to archive it.

Geocache Description:

A micro tube hidden somewhere around the bridge.

The village was the first new village to be created in Leicestershire since Doomsday and is unique in the county.  The village is built on the site of a former army supply depot which was originally built in 1940 which was known as the Queniborough depot.  Between its completion in 1942 and 1959 when it was decommissioned and bought by Jelson it had many different uses from "dangerous energy" to being occupied by the war office and a 78 COSD (command ordnance sub depot).

In 1962 Jelson commenced their housing development and the two enormous shell bunkers that could not be demolished were bricked up, earthed over and landscaped.  This is now known as the mound.

What is less well known is the huge network of large reinforced concrete tunnels that lay beneath the whole village where the munitions were fitted with their warheads and top secret weapons prototypes were put together.
