"Terrace Night Eyes" is a night cache; you will need to seek this cache in the dark. The coordinates will lead you to the starting point of this adventure. You will need a flashlight in order to follow the trail to the final cache location.
Seeking this cache requires the geocacher to hike a reasonably easy section of the Terrace Mountain Biking Trail. You will need to do this in the dark in order to see the trail markers. The markers are revealed when a flashlight beam is swept over them. Find the first marker near the starting coordinates and then sweep your light for the next marker...go to that one and seek the next and so on. Marker pins are located approximately 2.5 meter from the ground. You're almost there when you find a set of two markers side by side. It may be a good idea to carry a spare flashlight. There are no markers on the trip out so remember any turns or intersections you had on the trip in! (You can always shine the light back to make sure you're on the right trail ). This cache requires a hike of a approximately 750 meters one way from the parking area and should take less than 1.5 hours to complete. Go slowly, watch your footing, stay safe, have fun and watch for those Night Eyes!
