Discover one of the best views from Penrhyn Castle.

All the directions for the Penrhyn Castle's caches starts from the gift shop, where you can hire (free) a GPS unit if you haven't got one. Penrhyn Castle caches are simple caches all on easy terrain, with the occasional step and gravelled path. All the caches are suitable for medium swaps. Visitors parking is in the main visitor carpark. There are plenty of lovely wild flowers, birds and wildlife to enjoy whilst hunting for these caches. If parking any where other than the main car park, please respect walkers at all time. Penrhyn castle entrance gate close at 6pm till 7.30am (Sept to June), and 7pm till 7.30am (June to Aug). Whilst here why don't you enjoy our 1-mile walk? You can download it from our website. The woodlands contain many veteran trees which can drop branches suddenly. Please adhere to any woodland or property closed signs for high winds, snow falls and extreme weather conditions. *** When you find the cache, why not count all the windows of the Keep that you can see. Take a picture of yourself by the Keep (but don't spoil the cache location!!) and post your picture together with your answer on our Facebook page!
