Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates but is less than 1 mile away

The other day I was stopped for a traffic light when I noticed a bird sitting at the posted coordinates. Something caught my eye so I parked in the nearby gas station and got out of the car to take a look. Although this area of Sunnyvale has a lot of birds, this is the first time that I had seen this particular one.

As I approached the bird I saw that something was attached to one of its legs. Suddenly a car horn sounded and startled the bird. When it flew away, the device that was attached to its leg fell off and the battery came out. I picked it up and noticed that it had a micro-USB port. Curious to what it was, I took it home.

When I connected the device to my computer, a series of GPS coordinates began downloading. When the download was complete, I plotted the GPS coordinates and connected them in time stamp order. After I was finished I was surprised to see coordinates for a cache that I hid nearby.

Here’s the plot. Can you find the cache?

Cache is sign only. Don't forget to bring your pen.

Enjoy!
