Join us for the first ever Dauphin community geocaching event on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. This will be a free event with 30+ new caches being released that day for avid geocachers to look for. We will also be hosting Geocaching 101 workshops for people who are interested in learning more about geocaching and having the opportunity to try it out.
9:00 am - 10:00 am Check in at Dauphin City Hall
For avid geocachers:
During the check in period, the cache locations will be uploaded to your GPSr units for you.
10:00 - 4:00 pm You are free to head out geocaching at your own pace.
For the new geocachers:
We will be running two sets of workshops/intro sessions. Tentative times are 10:15 am - 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm - 3:30pm. Pre-registration that morning will be required as there are limited spots available.
4:00 - 5:00 pm All participants are asked to return to CIty Hall for refreshments, mingling and participation prizes.
