This cache is part one of a 3 part series. I designed the Family Fun series for families to enjoy a walk in the woods and have fun with the cache. We do have permission to be on the property but per the request of management, due to safety concerns, they do ask that there be no geocaching when there is Ice or Snow present during the winter. If there is heavy rain, I suggest a pass unless you don't mind a little mud here or there.
Go down the wooden stairs and go left to get you started in the right direction...
As I mentioned before, this is part 1 of a 3 part series...You will need paper and pen for this series...once you have found and solved the cache it will provide you 1/2 the coordinates needed for the Family Fun Final. This area once belonged to Illinois power but now is church property... the once groomed nature trails are more nature than trail... I have cleared most of the trail for hiking and even marked some parts of the trail with a white cloth trail marker. So there should not be a need for complete bushwacking but plan on hiking the trails, and spending around an hour to complete all three in this series. I do ask that no SWAG be left in this cache... please put any tradables in the Family Fun Final cache... thank you and hope you enjoy the hunt.
