RESISTANT GORGE ROCKS Traditional Cache

I couldn't believe there were no caches in this area of the First Basin/Cateract Gorge.
Not too many tourists venture into this part of the area but many local teenagers do over Summer.
Twenty metres SW from GZ there is an excellent view across the First Basin to the suspension bridge. Twenty metres NE there is a nice view downstream to the road bridge. A great spot when the river is in flood. This little area is composed of residual tougher rock which has forced the river to exit the First Basin to the left rather than straight ahead.
