Geocache Description:

Thomas Fortune founder, name the high spot Mt. Pleasant.   Paschal Penossuau, a french Indian trader had established a post years beofre on Stranger Creek, south of this site.

The first Post Office in Atchison County, was at Mt. Pleasant.
We saw deer running off, behind the cemetery, when we pulled up.

There is a "road" or path that you can drive up to gz.  It is right across from the water tower.   I was fine in my Chrysler van on a dry day.

You know that all the roads in the area are not gravel or paved, use caution.

As always be respectful to the area.

You are looking for an unusual looking bison tube holder.
