For Scott & Krista Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Highlander 71: This cache is being archived because I am no longer able to perform regular maintenance on it.

Many thanks to all who interrupted their journey up or down our Beautiful BC Sea-to-Sky corridor to seek out this cache. I am grateful for your kind words in your logs, and for those who had taken extra time to help keep this one going, even in the smallest way, I send you a plethora of caching karma so that your finds will vastly outnumber your DNFs! 👍😎

And for those of you who might have been planning & hoping to make the stop, my apologies. We can always be optimistic that someone who lives closer to GZ might be inspired to place a new cache near here to continue giving cachers a reason the stop and stretch their legs! 😁

Cache on!

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Scott & Krista's wedding geocache! Their wedding took place September 2, 2012 at the beautiful Brew Creek Centre. Sorry we didn't have room for more than a handful of geocachers to attend, but the rest of you can at least share a bit of the scenery!

Scott & Krista have both lived in the Whistler area for a few years, each of them having moved here because of their love for the mountains and all they have to offer.

Fate has a weird sense of humour. Krista's home was less than 200 metres from where Scott was living but they had never met. Tired of the same-old, same-old of trying to meet suitable companions at clubs and such, these two strangers each decided to try an online dating service. They were matched through their love of the outdoors, skiing, biking and so on, so they arranged a meeting.

Fast forward by about one year, and they have now become husband & wife! Congratulations to the happy couple!!

You are looking for a small camo-painted L&L with a few trinkets and some memorabilia from the wedding. Turn off the highway at the Brew Creek Centre access road and go about 100m up the hill. On the south side of the road you will see a small trail that leads up to a fairly flat space littered with rocks and a couple of large boulders.

My apologies for FTF, 2TF, and 3TF already being taken! : )
