Vang n Veltie!
In South Africa road distances are great, and taking a break next to the road when nature calls and no gas station is nearby, is common place.
Not that this is in any way what is happening here, so relax! The name just popped into my head when looking for a name for my cache, and since its next to a Regional Road, it seemed apt.
The cache is hidden inside the road reserve, right on the fenceline....probably at one of the more obvious spots since there isnt much to help the hide. - Hint , hint-
Park well off the Road shoulder, as traffic can be fast moving.
If you visit on a calm day, you might see a few guys flying some radio control aeroplanes in the grass on the other side of the fence. Don't stress, they aren'y muggles...come say hi if you want even! This is afterall why i chose this spot....so that i can maintain the cache everytime i go play!
If you DO need to have a bathroom break, a few hundred meters to the South you will find a Petrol Stop...and if you look carefully...a very nice historical cache to boot!
NOTE: Please be watchful for snakes in the long grass in summer. There is a nice dam to the South full of Geese, plenty of moles and lovely soft soil making it perfect for our local (non venomous constrictor) Mole Snake. Snakes are extremely important to our ecology, so please dont kill them!
