Amantani is an island on Lake Titicaca. There are two mounain peaks, called Pachamama (Mother Earth) and Pachatata (Father Earth) more than 4000 meters over sea level. There are Inca ruins and they offer beautiful sights of Lake Titicaca. On your way to Pachamama or Pachatata you will find the Cache. You can stay overnight on this beautiful, peaceful island. The families open their houses for tourists and provide cooked meals. There are no hotels or restaurants. We spent a few days with a lovely, friendly family. They also help us maintenance the cache. Please hide the cache in the same way.
