Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!

Instead, you will find yourself close to four memorial markers that remember departed members, volunteers, and veterans. You will have to answer the questions below and plug your answers in the formula that follows to obtain the coordinates for the location of the cache. All of the answers can be obtained from these four markers.

This is the Greenwood Cemetery, also known as the Alliance Cemetery, and the plot of ground for the cemetery was first bought by the Alliance Cemetery Association on April 11, 1890. On August 10, 1915, the city of Alliance bought the land from the Association. The cache is not located near any graves, and you will not have to walk on any graves to find the cache.

What is the IOOF Lodge number on the IOOF marker? 1(B)8

What is the Aerie number of the FOE marker? 13(C)

How many eagles are on the front of the FOE marker? (D)

What is the lodge number for the Alliance Rebekah Lodge? 1(A)(E)

What is the date the IOOF marker was dedicated? May 31, 197(K)

Not counting the bordered section with the American Legion insignia, how many words comprise the American Legion dedication? Now subtract the American Legion Auxiliary number to get this number. (G)

What year was the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department established? (X)89(Y)
(X)-(Y)=(H)

What year was the Alliance Rural Fire District established? 194(J)

Counting the Fire Department Patch and the other three monuments where you've gleaned your answers thus far, how many times do you find the word Alliance? (F)

Okay, plug your answers into the formula below to go find the cache.
