Co można było produkować, poza traktorami w tak wielkich halach jakie powstały na terenie Zakładów "Ursus" w latach 70.? Wcześniej Przeniesiono również strumień Konotopa do podziemnego kanału, przebiegającego pod terenem zakładów. Podobno wybudowano również duży schron przeciwatomowy dla załogi. W trakcie rozbudowa Zakładów mechanicznych w latach 70. wzniesiono wielkie hale, niemal tak wielki że mogłyby pomieścić walcownie w hucie. Mieściły one montownie i linie produkcyjne traktorów. Nie od wczoraj wiadomo że takie linie produkcyjne maszyn można łatwo przestawić na produkcję zbrojeniową. Wielkość hal pozwalałaby produkować w nich nie tylko znacznie większe pojazdy ale mniejsze jednostki pływające…

What could have been produced, apart of agricultural machinery in such large halls that were built for „Ursus” works in the 70s? Previously, the stream Konotopa moved to an underground channel that runs under the area of factory. Reportedly a large anti-nuclear shelter has been built for the crew. During the development of Mechanical Works in the 70s new enormous halls was built – almost as big that might hold up a steelwork line. They fit assembly plants and production lines of tractors. It is known, not since yesterday that the production lines of mechanical industry can be quite easily switched to military production. That oversized halls may allow to produce not only much larger vehicles but smaller vessels ...
