The name says it all. Some years ago (about 4, actually) there was a large fall of snow on the St Arnaud village. When it fell on these manuka/kanuka trees, they could not stand the pressure of the snow above, and collapsed. 4 years later, a geocache is placed so people can come and see that what we play in during winter is also a tree killer.
The cache is a peanut-butter container with all the usual stuff.
