Geocache Description:

Part of the Haggis Highway trail and part of a series of events as shown below, please do not look for or log this cache before Friday 5th October.

To celebrate the creation of this section of the Haggis Highway events will take place on 5th, 6th and 7th October 2012.

The events are as follows:
Wick ~ Bar Blether GC3PQ71 - Friday 5th October from 19:00
Wick ~ Dinner GC3PQ89 - Saturday 6th October from 17:00
Dunbeath ~ Lunch GC3PQ8R - Sunday 7th October 10:00~12:00

Corn Mill Burn.     The mill was built in the early 1800s by Sandy’s ancestors and was active until around 1926, milling oats for the crofters of Halladale, Reay and Melvich. By road - the Cornmill Bunkhouse is located on the A897, approximately 6 miles from Melvich, 20 miles to Thurso, 42 miles from John O'Groats and 34 miles from Helmsdale.By train - Forsinard railway station is only 10 miles away.  The line runs from Inverness - Wick, stopping at Forsinard three times a day.

There is a large parking area off the road. The route to the cache is uphill and  wet and the ground is uneven.

The cache is a medium box with a FTF card, logbook, pen and swaps.
