This caching Event will be the FIRST of its kind to be held in Qatar. As the weather is starting to cool off slightly now we have decided that we will hold it late afternoon, early evening and it will be the form of a BYO [Bring Your Own] BBQ on the beach. The location is very central and easily accessible for all. Please note the waypoints given below in order that we do not drive over areas that could lead to raising the curiosity of the Traffic Police!
In order to qualify for this SPECIAL EVENT there are 2 things that you will need to do. The first is to be present and sign the attendance logbook. The second, and more importantly, you will need to bring along AT LEAST 1 [one] large black bag per person attending. Once the bag has been filled with TRASH from the surrounding area and placed in the demarcated area will the logbook be accessible to you for signing! Believe me, there will be plenty of trash available to fill many more bags than what we will have with us. Additional black bags will be available for those who wish to fill extra trash.
Please bring along your own chairs, gazebos, shade, portable lights and if you have, your own BBQ as well. When you indicate attendance please note if you have a BBQ that you will be bringing along and how many people will be attending so that we have an idea of what will be needed.
